As a truck driver, operating a commercial vehicle or an 18- wheeler while intoxicated or causing a traffic accident can cost you your job. If you are accused of both in one incident, it could not only end your driving career, but also cost you your freedom.
Experienced DWI defense lawyer Travis L. Noble aims to spare you from prison and salvage your commercial driver’s license (CDL). He has handled many commercial driver DWI cases, and he has defended many drivers accused of DWI accidents.
If you are charged with causing injury or death in a DWI accident in your capacity as a commercial driver, call us today at (314) 970-4983 for a free consultation.
The Travis Noble, P.C., can represent Missouri residents or out-of-state drivers, including over-the-road truckers, delivery drivers, construction workers, bus drivers, limo drivers and anyone who holds a CDL.
A DWI accident resulting in bodily injury can lead to charges of assault in the second degree. A DWI accident resulting in someone’s death can be charged as vehicular homicide. These are serious felonies that may carry mandatory prison time upon conviction. A DWI accident in a commercial vehicle will also result in suspension of your CDL endorsement for one year or possibly a lifetime revocation.
CDL truck drivers are held to a stricter standard. You can be charged with DWI with a blood alcohol content of .04 rather than the standard .08. Essentially, the prosecution needs only to prove that you consumed alcohol, not that you were intoxicated or impaired.
Travis L. Noble is nationally recognized for his demonstrated results in drunk driving defense. He knows that you cannot afford a conviction or a guilty plea because your livelihood and your freedom are at stake. He brings 12 years of experience as a fearless trial lawyer plus 10 years of experience as a former law enforcement officer.
Attorney Noble knows how to find the flaws in the prosecution’s case in pursuit of a dismissal or acquittal. Only after exhausting every defense strategy will he engage in plea negotiations to mitigate the penalties.
