Missouri residents may be familiar with the actress Amanda Bynes from her work on the hit television shows "All That" and "The Amanda Show." According to recent reports, the former actress was taken into custody for an impaired driving incident during the early morning hours of Sept. 26.

According to a police report, a vehicle driven by Bynes was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer in Los Angeles at approximately 4 a.m. The officer claims that the vehicle had been stationary at the center of an intersection in the city's Van Nuys neighborhood. After being taken to a nearby police station, it was determined that the actress was under the influence of an unknown substance. It was later revealed that she had allegedly taken Adderall, which was prescribed to her by a doctor.

The incident occurred while Bynes was on probation for a prior drunk driving incident. The actress was charged with being under the influence in 2012 after striking a car belonging to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office. The former child star was also involved in a hit-and-run incident in 2013.

In some instances, the outcome of a DUI case may depend on the results of a blood test. While these tests are considered to be reliable by prosecutors and law enforcement officers, they may still be challenged by a criminal defense attorney in certain situations. Blood tests must be conducted according to strict guidelines, and the results may not be accurate if the sample used was not handled correctly.
