Missouri woman accused of drunk driving in fatal crash

Although she was released from jail on her own recognizance, a 67-year-old Mansfield woman faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter after a fatal accident on U.S. Highway 60 in Fordland. According to an accident scene investigation by the state highway patrol, she was driving a car east on the highway when she struck the rear of another vehicle. The impact forced the second vehicle off the road and overturned it.

Missouri man charged with DWI after being found asleep

Law enforcement authorities charged a St. Louis man with driving while intoxicated after finding him asleep in his car behind the wheel. The man was reportedly found by police on Oct. 8, 2015, asleep at the wheel at the intersection of Old Halls Ferry Road and Netherton Drive in North St. Louis County. He was taken into custody at that time.
