Phil Scanlon has successfully represented thousands of criminally accused in jurisdictions across the State of Missouri at the trial and appellate level. Mr. Scanlon has handled every type of criminal charge and is well versed in criminal law and procedure.
Mr. Scanlon is unmatched by his peers in trial and appellate experience. He has conducted jury trials in both urban and rural jurisdictions and is renowned for his trial advocacy and legal aptitude. Passionate, boisterous, and intense, Mr. Scanlon is relentless in defense of those he represents.
Mr. Scanlon is a native of St. Louis. He was a scholarship athlete and completed his undergraduate education at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. While attending St. Louis University School of Law, he was selected to serve the United States Army as a civil servant with the Trial Defense Unit in Fort Riley, Kansas. After obtaining his Juris Doctorate, he served as a Missouri State Public Defender in the 24th Circuit. He gained copious trial experience while an associate attorney at Taaffe & Associates located in downtown St. Louis. He has been with Sindel Noble since November 2019.
